Who here is always hungry after school? Actually, a better question would be who isn’t? You’ve spent all day working hard (hopefully), and now that school is over for the day, you can relax before diving into homework. But then again, you’re super hungry, which is no way to power through the afternoon. What are you going to do? Why not pay a visit to the new and improved Raptor Cafe!
If you were here last year, you may remember the old Raptor Cafe. It consisted of only a table, stocked to the brim with snacks and drinks, wheeled outside 15 minutes before school got out. However, that table is a thing of the past. Why is that, you ask? A new, permanent Raptor Cafe is currently being built in the 10th grade wing!
Thomas Rada, a 10th grade student helping to build the cafe, says that it will be an ASB run store, permanently residing inside the school’s 10th grade studio. It will sell snacks and drinks, just like the old Raptor Cafe did. You can expect to see chips, Arizona iced teas, water, fruit snacks, and ever famous Cup-a-Noodles. Food prices will range from 50¢ to $1. Yet, now there will be an exciting new addition to the store. Raptor Cafe will also be a “spirit store”! They will be selling Raptor pride merchandise like t-shirts and water bottles, so that you can continue to support our great school!
In (at most) two weeks, the cafe will be open for business. Once open, it will be selling goods every day after school from 3:30 to 4:15. Satisfy your hunger and support our school, by stopping by the Raptor Cafe!
