Violence broke out on Friday night as ISIS claimed responsibility for over 130 deaths and over 350 injuries, including those of seven of their own members. France conducted airstrikes in Syria on Monday morning, as skepticism of Syrian refugees continues to grow. In addition, the President of France conducted a special joint session of the French Parliament to declare a state of emergency that would last three months. He added 5,000 positions to the police force, imposed security zones, and created measures that would allow French officials to deport or revoke citizenship for anyone who posed as a threat regardless of if their birth country is France.
ISIS released a video promising more attacks, causing leaders of many countries to take measures to ensure terror attacks do not take place in their states. The United States is one of them after 26 U. S. states said they would not take in any Syrian refugees. Additionally, Britain's Prime Minister announced a $3 million additional funding plan to fund tighter security, some of which will fund stricter security at England’s upcoming soccer match with France.
